City Hall Must Amend the Waterfront Zoning Overlay

This is a request to all of NABR’s supporters to help us advocate for good waterfront development. NABR has been working through the Central Delaware Advisory Group (CDAG) to add essential amendments to Councilman DiCicco's interim zoning overlay legislation for the Central Delaware. This is the legislation that will regulate development and public access along the river until the Master Plan is in place. We are particularly advocating for:

  • A 100' setback from the edge of the river.

SugarHouse receives foundation permit

A few days ago SugarHouse Casino picked up the foundation permit that the city had waiting for them for two months.

Penn Praxis and CDAG Release Central Delaware Action Plan

On June 26, 2008 Penn Praxis and the Central Delaware Advocacy Group (CDAG) unveiled the 10-point action plan for implementing the Central Delaware Riverfront vision. Since the completion of the Civic Vision last November, PennPraxis has worked with community leaders from the central Delaware riverfront civic associations, now known as CDAG, to develop a series of recommendations for leaders to use to implement the civic vision.
